Biography

Louise Barnes
December 21, 1902 – June 1, 1986

Louise Barnes was born on December 21, 1902. She was a Pensacola native and was baptized as an infant at First Church. She was a graduate of Pensacola High School and Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee. She worked in the Civil Service of our nation in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Miami, and here in Pensacola at NAS.

The scholarship in her memory was initially funded by Mrs. Barnes, but has grown through memorial gifts from her family to provide assistance to students who are preparing for full time Christian service in the church.
