Biography

Mary Estes Lundy moved to the Pensacola area in 1943 with her husband, E. H. Lundy. She became a member in the life of First Church in 1953. She had historically been involved in community service organizations in the Pensacola area and served as a Charter Member of such community organizations as the League of Women Voters, West Florida Heart Association, Greater Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, and the Mental Health Association.

Mary was President of the Pensacola Women’s Club and organized the Junior Women’s Club. She served as chairman of the Status and Role of Women in the church. Her involvement in a wide variety of community organizations in Pensacola was long and showed the breadth of her interest in helping people.

Mary died January 7, 1999.
