Lent is a solemn religious observance that begins on Ash Wednesday and covers approximately six weeks (40 days, not counting Sundays) before Easter. Lent is a time of preparation and reflection through prayer, self denial and repentance. Come be a part of the many services and activities at First Church during the season of Lent.
