Noah’s Ark

Noah’s Ark Learning Center is our full day preschool located at First United Methodist Church of Pensacola.  We believe all children are a gift from God and we have the responsibility to faithfully nurture each one entrusted to our care.  We are committed to providing a loving, nurturing environment where the children can grow socially, physically, academically and spiritually.

We believe:
+  children should be actively involved in the learning process.
+  children should experience the world around them through all their senses.
+  family is an integral part of the child and how he/she develops and whole heartedly welcome their input and participation in the program.
+  in instilling self-respect, honesty, and good moral value.
+  in preparing a child both socially and academically

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 5:50 p.m.
School year is year round (from August to August)

Registration

Noah’s Ark Learning Center is open to all children ages six weeks to five years.  Acceptance is determined by the number of spaces available in each class.  The birthday cut off for each class is September 1st.  Fall registration is conducted in February of each year.  Registration forms should be submitted along with the nonrefundable registration fee at the time of registration.  All costs are provided to you on the Schedule of Payments Form at the time of registration.  Please call 850-438-3508 to inquire about openings.

Program Features

Religious Education
Our two, three and four year olds meet for Chapel once a week.  Religion is also integrated into the rooms by way of stories, songs, art, and many other forms.  Assembly, which is held every morning, includes the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

Physical Education and Fitness
In addition to our outside play time, we also have physical education three times weekly in our air conditioned gym.  The children participate in a variety of large motor activities.  Social interaction occurs in physical education and participation should foster personal values.

Key Pad Entry
For added security all our preschool facilities our secured with keypad entry.  The safety of your children is our upmost priority.

Web Cam Monitoring
We are pleased to offer our parents the opportunity to vie their children while at work.  Noah’s Ark Learning Center has a web cam in each of the classrooms.  Parents can access the website from their computers at work or at home.  This site is secure and you must set up a username and password in order to login.  This information must also be given to the preschool director for your account information to not be blocked.
