Companions in Christ
Companions in Christ is a powerfully transforming experience in opening yourself to God’s presence and guidance. Explore classic spiritual practices, and develop new daily patterns that will open your life to a deepening relationship with God and with your group. These groups range from 5 weeks to 28 weeks and are offered at a variety of times and seasons.
Disciple
First Church has been offering the Disciple Bible Study Program since the 1980’s. Disciple is designed to develop Biblically nourished Christians committed to living as disciples of Jesus Christ. Each of the four phases of Disciple study is built on small group dynamics. Many have indicated that this program has been a life-changing experience. Disciple I is an overview of the entire Bible. Disciple II takes a focused look at Genesis – Exodus, Luke, and Acts. Disciple III is an examination of the prophets and the letters of Paul. Disciple IV studies John and Revelation and Jesus in all four gospels.

Other Small Groups
Small groups are formed as needed around seasonal themes and special needs. Examples include Advent and Lenten studies, Christianity and Politics and book studies.
