Great Day of Service

Adopt-A-School
Our church has adopted N.B. Cook Elementary and Brownsville Middle Schools.
Angel Tree
Each Christmas season members of FUMC become “angels” and provide gifts for N.B. Cook Elementary school children.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Florida is affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the premier mentoring organization in the United States, with more than 500 agencies in all fifty states.
Council on Aging of West Florida, Inc.
The mission of the Council on Aging of West Florida, Inc., is “To provide advocacy, support and services for the aging and for those involved in their lives in ways that will improve the quality of life for all.”
Esca-Rosa Coalition on the Homeless
The Esca-Rosa Coalition on the Homeless offers the following services: Coat Off Your Back, Street Survival Guide, Homeless Message Service, Limited assistance with transportation, Project REACH.
FavorHouse of Northwest Florida, Inc.
FavorHouse of Northwest Florida is a temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence in both Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.

Florida Impact is a church-based organization which lobbies the Florida Legislature on justice, economic and social issues, and educates the churches regarding these issues.

Lean to Read of Northwest Florida, Inc.
Learn to Read of Northwest Florida, Inc., recruits and trains volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring of adults who are poor readers or are unable to read.
Loaves and Fishes Transitional Housing
FUMC joins twenty-three other churches in Pensacola to help sponsor homes to be used by homeless families with children on a temporary basis.
Manna Food Pantries
Manna Food Pantries is a private, not-for-profit corporation dedicated to alleviating hunger in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties.
Milk ‘n Honey Outreach Ministries
Milk and Honey Outreach Ministries is a program designed to reach out to inner city children and youth with mentoring and counseling activities.
New Beginnings
New Beginnings provides assistance, support, and fellowship to recovery women who have made a personal pledge to overcome addiction.

Boy Scout Troop 495, Cub Scout Pack 99 and Girl Scout Troop 110 meet at FUMC.
Suit Yourself
A free community service project of United Methodist Women that helps provide encouragement, professional imaging tips, as well as quality interview clothing and accessories for women in economic transition who are entering the workforce.
United Ministries
United Ministries is a non-profit agency which provides emergency financial help to meet the basic needs of people facing crisis situations.
