Spiritual Formation

At First United Methodist Church of Pensacola, we recognize the importance of continual, life-long exploration of our faith and life in Christ.  As Majorie Thompson wrote in Soulfeast, “Christ is formed in us not just personally, but corporately.  The mind of Christ is to shape and direct the entire body of Christ.  Here we receive our truest identity, mean and purpose.  Spiritual formation is conformation to the image of Christ by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.”

In order to seek the will of God in our lives we offer a number of groups and experiences where persons can find companions for their journey of faith.
