Four Sunday Morning Services

First United Methodist of Pensacola has 4 services every Sunday morning. The traditional worship services on Sunday morning are at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 A.M. All three services contain traditional Methodist liturgy and are located in our sanctuary on 6 East Wright Street in beautiful downtown Pensacola, Florida.

Also at 11:00 A.M. is ICON.  ICON is a new style of worship at First United Methodist Church of Pensacola, Florida which incorporates a unique blend of both contemporary and traditional worship elements, with inspired teachings by the Rev. Geoffrey Lentz, associate pastor at First Methodist. Music is provided by BANNER, a full modern worship band led by Jeb Hunt. ICON is a service of word and table, serving communion weekly, and meets in First Methodist’s new contemporary worship space, Wesley Abbey on the corner of Palafox and Wright Street. Wesley Abbey, located directly behind the historic Gov. Perry Home is a cutting edge worship space with the latest in technology including, multiple hi-definition projectors and state of the art sound.

Nursery is provided for all worship services and church functions
We utilize the silent pager program allowing you to feel secure that your children our in good hands while you worship
Our facilities are equipped with handicapped parking, wheelchair and elevator access, an entrance lobby automatic door, and restroom facilities for the disabled
Our services contain a hearing assistance system for the moderately hearing impaired
